The plan was simple: rent a camper van in Puerto Natales, drive south, and figure out the rest as we went.
Two weeks was enough to cover a loop through Torres del Paine, down toward Puerto Williams, and back.
What made it work
- Rent the van in Puerto Natales rather than further north
- Build in buffer days for Patagonian weather
- Stock up on groceries in larger towns
- Book W trek permits well before you arrive
- Pack for four seasons in one day
